Peace Is Universal

You are invited to join Rev. Mary Jo Sparry and Cher Wollard, R.Sc.P., on Wednesday, Aug. 13, for a special service entitled, “Peace Is Universal.” The service will be based on a wonderful ecumenical booklet called “Prayers for Peace.” This booklet includes prayers from the world’s 12 major religions. Our Night of Peace will be based on the universal consciousness of Peace that these prayers exemplify, which we in Religious Science know to be the Truth. Please join us at 7 p.m.

~~ Summer Classes !!! ~~

Sundays, August 3, 10, 24, and 31, 1:30 to 3:30 pm

You Can Heal Your Life
Facilitated by Rev. Andrea Scheib

Change your mind, change your life. We hear it all the time, but what happens when you have changed your mind but your life does not change? Louise Hay claims “life is really very simple. What we give out, we get back.” Changing your mind has nothing to do with willpower or discipline; it has to do with releasing old thoughts and allowing the new. You may be unconsciously resisting the very change you say you want! This summer class will take place Sunday afternoons from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, August 3, 10, 24, and 31. Based on the book, You Can Heal Your Life, by Louise Hay, the class will be facilitated by Rev. Andrea Scheib.

The cost: $60.00.

Mondays, August 5, 12, and 19, 7:00 to 9:30 pm.

Unlocking the Mysteries of Genesis
Presented by Rev. Tim Mauro

This ancient collection of near-eastern stories that begin the book we know as the Bible have been a source of controversy, confusion, and great inspiration. This summer, we have the opportunity to explore these stories and teachings with new eyes. Join us for this three-week class as we allow ourselves a greater understanding of life.  We will learn how the Book of Genesis is not just about ancient events of the Hebrew People; it is the story of the divinity that dwells in each of us. We can each wake up to it and use it in our own lives. Rev. Tim Mauro will teach this course on Mondays, August 5, 12, and 19 from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

The cost is $45.00.

Beginning Thursday, August 7, a four-week class, 7:00 pm to 9:00 p.m.

Eat, Pray, Love
Presented by Rev. Susan Moeller

Elizabeth Gilbert’s bestselling book is described as “one woman’s search for everything across Italy, India, and Indonesia.” It is, in fact, one person’s journey in the pursuit of pleasure, devotion, and balance–the practice of “diligent Joy.” Not just for the ladies, this “engaging, intelligent, and highly entertaining memoir” is a beautiful and surprising account of how to “participate relentlessly in the manifestation of your own blessings.” Rev. Susan Moeller will facilitate this four-week class beginning Thursday, August 7, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 p.m.

The cost is $60.00.
