Dear Spiritual Family,
Let the classes begin! Dr. Ernest Holmes said, “Should all the wisdom of the Universe be poured over us, we should yet receive only that which we are ready to understand” This is true. For example, imagine a child who is just learning to count being exposed to the vast, accumulated mathematical knowledge of humanity. It would be incomprehensible to the child, but within all that information, there is a portion of knowledge that exactly corresponds to what the child must know. Whatever the child’s needs may be, answers to them already exist.
Through our study of Science of Mind principle, we discover our answers exist also. Infinite Mind contains all knowledge and wisdom. As such, whatever specific instruction, guidance, or information we require is contained in It. If we are consciously receptive to Divine Intelligence, we shall be instructed, guided, and informed according to the level of our receptivity. Sign up and be an important part of our classes. Increase your level of receptivity, and have one of the best years of your life!
Would you like to have one of the most wonderful music experiences of your life? Kat Epple will be with us on Sunday September 14, for both services and an afternoon concert (see info in this issue of the Triune). Tell your friends and invite everybody. Check out katepple.com to see and hear her on the web. See you in class!
Dr. Jay

Bobbie Boldy In recognition of your loving service and dedication to our spiritual community, we celebrate and honor you!
While sorting through some old things that once belonged to her mother, Bobbie Boldly found a real treasure– the writings of Ernest Holmes. Bobbie had spent years reading philosophy and works by contemporary authors that spoke of love, unity, and spirituality, but it was reading Ernest that truly awakened her. After searching for churches via the Internet, Bobbie attended several before she came to Fremont. She soon enrolled in a daytime class that fit her schedule. She continues to take classes and is one of our most active volunteers. You will find her working in the bookstore, singing in the choir, and coordinating the service on Wednesdays. She also participated with her classmates in arranging the Graduation dinner. Most recently, she lent a helping hand at the Fremont Festival of the Arts.
A native Californian, Bobbie currently resides in Hayward. She recently retired after nearly 37 years with the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office. In her earlier years, she participated in martial arts and Zydeco music. Now, she prefers reading, traveling, attending live performances, relaxing at her favorite spas, and loving her kitties.
Immersing herself in the teaching, Bobbie wants to live from the principles without having to think about them. The teaching has helped her realize the choices she always has available. It has helped her in making major decisions. It has helped her to stand firm in the Truth. She loves it, and she wants more of it!

Moon Circle A Gathering of Women
Madames et Mademoiselles – Attendez Vous le Second Annual Moon Circle Salon Topic: Dealing with Difficult People
A “salon” is a gathering of people “to please and educate” through readings and conversation. The word “conversation” comes from the Latin meaning “changing together.” Anyone can be difficult at times, but some people just seem to be that way all the time. This month, we will discuss our real-life situations and brainstorm solutions by tapping into the wealth of personal experience of the women in the circle. We will also refer to Dr. Robert Bramson’s book, Coping with Difficult People.
We will apply principle to the people and situations that challenge us and do affirmative prayer to recognize the higher Truth within whatever we face in our personal and professional lives. Got a situation with someone who is knocking you off balance? Been through the trenches with exasperating ex-husbands, bullying bosses, and sullen siblings, and have a lot of wisdom to impart? Bring your current dilemmas, sage advice, and a potluck dish to share. Be a part of “changing together” through the fine art of conversation.
Saturday, September 13, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Beautification Day
This month, we will be in the garden again for lots of fun. Come help make the grounds beautiful. It is also Church Beautification Day, so join Jay Borges and crew to tackle the “Honey Do” list.

Friday, September 26, Doors Open 6:40 PM Movie Begins 7:00 PM
Metaphysical Movie Night
 Enchanted
Starring: Amy Adams, James Marsden, Idina Menzel, Susan Sarandon, and Patrick Dempsey.
An animated fairytale meets modern, live-action comedy. The beautiful princess Giselle is banished by an evil queen from her magical, musical, animated land and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan. Shocked by this strange new environment that does not operate on a “happily ever after” basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer who has come to her aid, even though she is already promised to a perfect fairytale prince back home. What is real? What is fairytale? How do we perceive our lives? Join Rev. Andrea Scheib and the movie-goers to explore the metaphysics of manifesting what you want in life.
An in-depth discussion follows the movie, so bring a dessert to share, and bring a friend. This is a great way to introduce people to our church!
Suggested love offering $5.
Art Festival SEVA
Thank you to all who helped at our booth at the Art Festival. The event was a major success and we look forward to participating again next year. Jeanne Bertolina designed the picture board, which was a great draw to the booth! Maude Williams helped stuff envelopes. Sheila Dewey and Carol Jean Owen made copies and stuffed envelopes. The following volunteers gave generously of their time by staffing the booth: Pam Nickels, Bobbie Boldy, Rev. Harriet Topczewski, Rev. Pam McClure, Jill Monedero, Rev. Mary Jo Sparry, Robert DePeyster, Shirley Penney, Estella Flores, Star Massing, Jay Borges, Debbie Borges, Gary Eaves, Carol Salinger, and Mona Dawn Edwards.

Sanctuary Beautification
Did you know our sanctuary is undergoing beautification? Because of the powerful rainstorms in January, the roof is being repaired, the walls painted, and the carpet replaced. We would also like to replace the windows and purchase new chairs. Several generous members have already made donations toward the cause. If you would like to offer your financial support, please contact Rev. Dr. Cynthia Cavalcanti at (510) 573-3372 for more information.

~~ THE SPIRITUAL DIMENSIONS ~~
|
|
“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness. Come before His Presence with singing.” Ps. 100:1
The Spiritual Dimensions is a chorus of angelic voices brought together in Love to sing as one voice at the Tri-City Church of Religious Science. The choir continues to grow and expand under the direction of Duane Day, a fine musician who shares his gifts in the most wonderful way, consciously bringing out the best in each of the singers with his love and enthusiasm for beautiful music and lyrics to share with the world. Members of the choir contribute their combined talents to the good of the whole - Sopranos, Altos, Tenors and Basses singing with a purpose, to vibrate their voices into one perfect harmonious voice. Please see Duane Day if you are interested in joining,

 September: Manifesting Our Desires
The children will have the opportunity to express their desires and dreams for themselves and their families, then learn how to manifest these very same desires. It is one thing to desire something; it is another to develop the tools and knowledge that allow you to live your dreams. In a fun, loving atmosphere, our teachers will help the students explore these tools and this knowledge. Bring your children, grandchildren, neighbors, and everyone to enjoy this enlightening experience.

Prayer for September
God Is Right on Time
God is Truth. Truth is Infinite and Unchangeable. It is Omnipresent and can therefore be called upon at any moment to reveal Itself in manifest form on the spot. Truth is Its own demonstration; It needs nothing do Its bidding, because there is nothing else.
God is never late or delayed. It is always where It is called upon to be when It is realized and known. Through my knowing that It exists, It effortlessly slices through the muck and mire of any apparent delay or obstruction without exception. Set-backs, hang-ups, and slow-downs no longer play into my daily circumstances, for they are nothing in the Presence of Truth, which knows only Itself.
Knowing this to be true, I relax, for I am clear nothing in the physical realm has the power to withhold or delay the joy, fulfillment, peace, and prosperity that are mine by right of consciousness. Truth demonstrates Itself as everything necessary and is now perfectly revealed in my world. I know this to be true, and knowing is enough. And so it is.
Rev. Darlene Sykes
